90% of our performances are private functions, therefore we cannot obtain public access and would hate to intrude on anyone’s special day or big event. However, you can find us performing at public venues like Piano works Farringdon, West end, Piano Smithfield, Browns and The Den in central London.

Yes, we require a 50% deposit to be paid within 7 days of signing the contract to secure the date and musicians.
The deposit is refundable as long as it fits within the terms & conditions of the contract. Our service charge is 5% per booking and is non refundable

Whilst our Thames band is a more set list band were you choose your favourite songs from our extensive song list. Together with you, we will build a set list which we know will bring your party to a new level
Our daytime acts are happy to perform your favourite songs during the ceremony, drinks reception and evening dinner. a full set list is added to your client portal after bookings.
If you like us to perform your first dance please let us know no later than 2 weeks upfront so we can make this sound absolutely perfect for you.
We travel anywhere for you big day, from London to Valencia.

Within the UK we charge 0,45 per mile from London
For booking over 100 miles from London we include a overnight stay in our travel costs.
Events abroad we require a separate quote from a Sound and lighting company and need to check travel cost hotels and flight so these quotes can greatly vary.
We take great pride in the band set up looking great and the sound been perfect, therefore we require sufficent time for this:

Our busiest times are the Summer and Christmas, therefore it is wise to book 6 months in advance, however, there has been a growing trend in spring and winter weddings, so as earlier as possible is best.
We will, however, have to add on any additonal measures to the quote as everthing has a cost to us either as administrive or performance wise
Open air events can be fantastic, and we are happy to play outside. However, we would need a suitable area, such as a covered stage or marquee/gazebo. Potential rainfall and other weather conditions need to be taken into account. We will require access to at least two 13amp power points.
All our bands are fully self contained with state-of-the-art PA system for up to 400 guests, sound desk and lights. The quality of our equipment is another element that allows us to bring you a top quality sound. We only use the best. We do require that the venue has at least two 13amp power points situated near the performance space.
Yes, we cover the whole evening’s entertainment for you. Included in all our quotes is our recorded Party playlists from setting up till 30 minutes after the last set. This is party music played via DJ software, through our state of the art PA system. We put this on for you before we play, during the interval and when we finish unto 30 minutes, unless booked for longer. We have music of all styles. If you would prefer to provide your own party playlist, just put it on an ipod/ipad/phone and we can plug it into our system Or sent the music playlist it to us upfront via apple music.
Our standard sets are 2 x 60 minutes with a 30 minute break with a choice of booking a third set or extend the DJ playlist.
Included in all our services is a music playlist from set up to when the band starts, break music and 30 minutes after the last set of the band.

8 – 9 pm – Band Set 1 + first dance
9 – 9:30 pm – Party Playlist

Generally speaking, not necessary. You have plenty of entertainment going on and giving your guests a break in between sets to get themselves a drink and bond with the other wedding guests can be a good breather, before they get glued to the dance floor again.
If you would like a late finish but want the live music to start early, it might be a good option for you
We’ll give you the choice of adding a live band set, a DJ playlist , or a manned DJ set by myself. I don’t class myself as a professional DJ but of course after years of working in the music industry I have learned some great skills. And know what kind of music will get people on their feet.
We love food and are so grateful if you can feed us.
We ask all our client to please provide us with a hot nutritious meal.
Wedding days are very long ( but rewarding ) days for us. Our typical day start early hours in the morning loading our vans driving to the location, set up and perform for x amount of hours, pack up and drive home.
Most of the time there isn’t anywhere nearby for us to fuel ourself properly to give loads of energy on stage to make your party epic and give it all the love it deserves.
It has never been a problem for us because Thames Entertainment has a team of incredible musicians and performers based in London who are all involved in all types of professional productions from function bands, West End musicals, music bars to recording with major artists.
They are hand picked, trusted, excellent musicians whom are well rehearsed with our material and are a delight to work with on and off stage

The Royal Piano show takes live request on the night via paper slips on the pianos and goes up to a 6 piece band.
Our Thames band creates a bespoke set list with you before the performance, with our clever system you can easily tick the boxes of the songs you want to hear at your wedding. The Thames band is bookable from 6 to 9 piece with roaming singers entertaining your guests.
